Specialist offshore crews, mobilised worldwide from Singapore
Northwind supplies vetted offshore and marine engineering personnel to operators and EPC contractors. Crews are assessed, certified and available before your enquiry lands — so mobilisation starts on day one, not after a search.

Disciplines
Four crewing disciplines, one desk
Each discipline is run by people who have worked the scope. Send the rotation and the asset; we return names, availability and day rates.
FPSO crewing
Production, marine and maintenance personnel for floating production units — OIMs, control room and production technicians, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation trades, on 4/4 or 6/6 rotations.
Subsea specialists
ROV pilots and technicians, subsea and installation engineers, survey and inspection personnel for construction, IRM and decommissioning scopes.
LNG project manpower
Commissioning and operations manpower for liquefaction, regasification and carrier scopes — gas and process engineers, cargo officers, QA/QC and commissioning leads.
Marine HSE consultants
HSE advisers, marine assurance and competency assessors who audit the scope, close the gaps and sign the crew off before anyone mobilises.
Operational advantage
Vetted before the enquiry. Documented before the flight.
A pool that is assessed before you call
A pool that is assessed before you call
Northwind maintains a standing pool of offshore and marine specialists by discipline. Assessment happens ahead of demand, not after it — which is why a shortlist can be drawn and confirmed available in days rather than opened as a search.
- Technical interview by a discipline lead who has worked the scope
- Certification and ticket validity verified and dated, not self-declared
- References taken directly from previous operators and contractors
- Rotation history, day rate and notice period recorded and kept current
- Availability re-confirmed with the candidate before any name is put forward
Compliance carried by us, not your project team
Crewing paperwork is where mobilisations slip. Northwind owns the documentation pack end to end, so your onboarding and HSE teams receive a complete file instead of chasing certificates across time zones.
- Seafarer certification, STCW and MLC documentation checked against the flag state
- Offshore medicals, vaccinations and fitness certificates tracked to expiry
- Visas, work permits and travel arranged from the Singapore desk
- Insurance cover and contract administration handled per jurisdiction
- Payroll, timesheets and rotation replacements managed for the contract term
Compliance carried by us, not your project team
Mobilisation sequence
From scope to crew on asset
Five stages. Nothing waits on a search, because the pool is already assessed.
- 1
Scope received
You send the discipline, rotation, asset, location and mobilisation window. We work from the scope document, not a job advert.
- 2
Shortlist from the vetted pool
Candidates already assessed for that discipline are drawn, re-confirmed available and returned with day rates, rotation and notice period attached.
- 3
Certification and competency assurance
Tickets, offshore medicals and competency evidence are verified against the flag state and your client matrix before any name is signed off.
- 4
Visas, travel and logistics
Permits, flights, PPE and transfers are arranged from Singapore, and the full documentation pack is issued to your onboarding team.
- 5
Crew on asset, rotation managed
Handover on arrival, then rotation planning, back-to-back cover, replacements and payroll administration for the length of the contract.

About Northwind
Twenty years of offshore crewing, run from Singapore
Northwind Marine Services is an offshore and marine crewing specialist, not a general manpower shop. For over twenty years the work has stayed inside four disciplines — FPSO, subsea, LNG and marine HSE — because depth in those scopes is what lets us judge a candidate properly.
The Singapore base puts the desk inside the region where much of the world's floating production, subsea construction and LNG work is contracted, converted and crewed. It also puts us in a working time zone for operators in the Gulf, West Africa, Australia and the North Sea.
Clients are energy operators and EPC contractors, usually working to a fixed mobilisation date. Our job is narrow and measurable: the right competency on the asset, on time, with the certification and compliance file complete.
Operational questions
What procurement and operations leads ask first
Because the pool is assessed ahead of demand, a shortlist for a mainstream FPSO, subsea or LNG discipline is drawn from people already interviewed and certification-checked. Send the scope and we will confirm a realistic shortlist date on the first call, along with what would slow it down — a niche competency, a restricted flag state or a visa route with a fixed processing time.
